History colour code amendment

Post by jwalker » Tue Sep 17, 2019 12:00 pm

I am unable to amend my history so it is correctly colour coded, I can change it accordingly however it defaults back once I come out of proclaim and log back in.

Has anybody come across this before :?:

Regards,

Jim

Not come across that but we've had some very weird issues around views not holding properly when the end user places the desktop window on their secondary monitor. Changes to layout are not retained between restarts. If we move the desktop windows to the primary monitor, restart, make the changes, restart, they are retained. Might be worth a look?

Hi Jim,

Strange one. I'm also having that issue but another staff member is not.

I'll see if I can figure anything out and will get back to you.

Further to this, I've been having a little play around and I've figured out the following that may help:

The colour coding mechanic is a bit finicky but I've sussed how it works.

Say you have 2 cases currently open:

Test1.001 - you set all the colour coding in this file
Test2.001 - you have not set any colour coding in this file

If you exit Test1.001 and then exit Test2.001, it is the colour coding of the last file you exit that will take priority!

For your scenario I would suggest only having one file open, make your colour changes and then come out of that file to commit said changes.

Every file you enter from now on will have your new formatting.

If you have multiple files open, just make sure the file you have made the colour changes to is the last one you exit.

Hope that helps Jim. :)
