Reporting on Escalation Levels of Tasks

Post by Netwiseit » Fri Mar 08, 2019 10:27 am

Morning all, I'm looking for some advice on the following:

1. Escalation Levels - are they only assigned after the diarised date of a task? Can the values in the Task Categories section use negative numbers so instead of days after the event, the escalation level increases the closer to a deadline date a task is reaching?

2. Advanced Reports: Reporting on Escalation Levels - does anyone know what the field is called that the level of escalation is set at?

Thanks in advance.

1 ... dunno try it?
2...i think the escalation level shown in main case task list is created when you view it???
dont think it stored anywhere at least you would think it is in diary.escalate but this is blank

the diary task category is stored in diary.priority

i think to get escalation on adv rept you would have to recreate the criteria yourself in advanced report by looking at diary date and using calculated field to work out the equivalend number of overdue days fromm the task category
