Oyez/Laserforms

Post by database_user »

Has anyone experienced any issues with Oyez form integration and Proclaim?

Are there any issues with Laserforms in Proclaim?

Thanks.

Proclaim version 3.3.1.05 has integration with OyezForms from Oyez Professional Services.

Not used it myself - the release notes just say "If you would like further information regarding this integration then please contact your relationship manager"

Has that version of Proclaim been released fully?
Has it been rolled out to firms yet?

Would also be interested to hear experiences. We are using Laserformw which is slow during the production of the form while merging happens - Fee Earners don't like Iaserforms so I investigated Oyez but was told it was worse. Laserforms support is good though.

Generally we find Laserform to be a pain and a lot of fee earners just download a fresh PDF from the MoJ website, Lexis or Practical Law rather than muck about with Laserform. We send a lot of forms to clients, so tend to convert to PDF before sending anyway. I am trying to steer them in the direction of using the forms within Proclaim so we can avoid re-keying information we already have stored.

I have found that Eclipse update their forms pretty quickly, often before Laserform do and any additional forms we need which are not supplied by Eclipse have been very easy to get into Proclaim and maintain (just need to ensure you know of changes in plenty of time). Setting up data fields is a piece of cake.

I guess it depends on how many forms you are using though.

Thanks David - that's useful info. We are obliged to use some Law Society conveyancing forms for CQS accreditation that Proclaim don't provide so it's a choice of Oyez or Laserforms.

That will apply to us too - glad you mentioned it! I haven't reviewed forms with our conveyancers yet, will keep that in mind.

We have Oyez but have had problems. All flexible forms need to be renamed before being saved to Proclaim. Some users have crashing issues when using Oyez and Proclaim and the document preview pane is an issue too.
