It'll be interesting to see it in the flesh, and whether you still get the customisability, integrations, and ability to write Proclaim Maths

I just had a chat with Access about something else but they said it is aimed at fee earners only, account and secretaries will still be working via the desktop client and my understanding from an email that my account manager sent is that custom workflows etc can still be built.
I've not had anything else this morning, I have a concern around being forced into their cloud. It may need to be an opt out from us for a while.

It certainly seems more cloud based than their current "hosted" solution.
The Access Group support staff have said to me on a couple of occasions now that that they've been told to say that bug fixes will be solved by moving to this new CaseMatters Evo platform. And that there won't be much dev on the current platform going forward.
I'm more interested to see the cost to "upgrade" and how it stacks up against moving to a competitor.

got off a call with our accounts manager yesterday, awaiting costings / sandbox to have a play.
interestingly they said from July when they move into "Horizon 2" they will be making it a compulsory move, costs incurred to us, i was told the development side there is still a full host of development tools but i cant see how it can all be the same as they seem to be saying it is, import/export functions for example with no physical monitoring locations unless they give you permissions to your own. i cant see how 6 months is enough time to migrate every user across. not only that, the _docs file sizes for every business must be an astronomical task to virtualise.

Having spoken with a few other devs I'm hearing similar things @DavidP
Seems to be a front end to host the 'Proclaim Desktop' or 'Main Case Handling' (depending on the age of your system). So all dev will still take place in the Openedge environment on a Client version of Procalim but a front end will be available in a web version.
Please continue to update us if you hear anything further or get a chance to see the product itself!

Not really a demo as such, just the front end landing page. Similar comments as already mentioned, from what was said, this is something you'll eventually be forced to use, our account manager stated that support/dev costs for the current desktop product would have to increase over time. Migration is a cost to the user, hosted on Azure (theirs not your own).
So many questions unanswered, one key question I'm looking forward to knowing is to what extent you have control over the AI side of things, can you prevent users from performing certain actions with AI, stop them amending certain letters etc.
Will post any other info I get

Hi, it's been interesting reading other peoples comments.
I'm currently awaiting answers to my list of questions.
Personally I wasn't impressed with the video, no sort of screens available like Proclaim.
Don't see much depth to it, seems like a glorified task list with AI?
With the earlier comment about secretaries on desktop client, might there be an issue where Fee Earners couldn't type or at least edit their own letters, I think that would be a sticking point with several of ours.

I was told a proper in depth demo would be organised in the next couple of weeks.
The initial showing is certainly more a Q&A, you see nothing other than the task list and there's no functionality at all that they can offer.
