Good point, I'd also like to know where the AI is grounded, within our 365 tenant or theirs? Where does the license sit and can our custom agents be leveraged?

I've had a chat with my account manager, there's still a lot of unknowns.
He's told me that this Phase 1 is for fee earners only and infrastructure remains as is (on prem for us).
Phase 2 due in June will see all other users moved across and then phase 3 (no date yet) will be the transfer of databases and document stores into the cloud.

He couldn't provide any solid information regarding ongoing development toolsets other than being certain that there will be provision given that keeping existing bespoke workflows and case types was non negotiable from their standpoint.

Given the track record of buggy releases, and v4 supposedly having been pulled - I've no idea how they intend to migrate everyone within 6 months.

And it's not going to go down well, shoehorning everyone into their desktop managed cloud.

No-one has got back to me about any of my questions, another thing that concerns me is we also use a 3rd party vendor for the accounts side and I don't know how they intend to cater for that?

For the current cloud customers, can I ask what happens regarding backups - do Access back it up for you or do you have to make your own provisions?

Secondly for Proclaim do they bill you at a flat rate per user or are there cloud data storage charges as well?

Thanks

I had a demo yesterday. On the whole it looks very promising but I'm not convinced that support for screens is great. I'm going to ask for clarification but on the face of it, it looks as though it's just displaying fields in a list based on tab order and the existing layout isn't preserved. That's going to make some of our stuff a nightmare. Anyone else looked at this aspect?

I also completely forgot to ask about tables and how we interact with those

I sat in on a demo yesterday and asked about some of these aspects. According to the presenters, the screen layout is maintained for existing fields, so that is less of a concern; however, it is not the most attractive UI, if I am honest. Of course, I am not sure if the demo system we saw is the same one you did, but since the fields were all a bit out of alignment, I assume they were maintaining the set positions from the screen designer.

When we asked about the table functionality, we were shown an example where the rows display an edit and delete pop-out button against each entry as you hover over them.

I would be very interested to hear from any early adopters on how they are finding this, and how their users are reacting.

Now that Case Matters Evo appears to be rolling out to clients, I’m keen to hear from anyone who has already been upgraded. How is it performing in day‑to‑day use? Any issues, compatibility problems, or early user feedback from your teams?

On paper, the new version should improve certain aspects of the system, but the rollout does feel a bit rushed, which is a concern. I’d be really interested to hear any real‑world experiences, particularly around the overall user experience.
