Advanced Report Creator - how to access Global fields

When I go to "Add Field" and then "Add Database Field", for fields to be used in the report, I can't see how to pick up Global fields, such as File Opened Date? Please help. :?:

Change the "Databases" dropdown to the casetype you are reporting on.
e.g Databases: Conveyancing
(presuming that case type is enabled for Include Global Fields in Csae Type Maintenance)

You are amazing Steve, thank you so much for your help. Everytime I type in the word "open" and set the Case Type to the one I wanted (e.g. Probate) nothing would be returned in the results. However, if I used the left hand menu and picked "Dates only" under "Standard", I could then scroll through the list of fields and there was the Global file opened dated - I still don't get why it wouldn't appear when I typed in "Open" in the Search box.

Note: I have blacked out most of the field names, just for privacy for the company.
