time recording query

Post by rob1 »

Quick query around time recording, essentially im looking for a quick and easy way to add some time in bulk to a case.

The background to this is time will be recorded on another system, which we will then look to transfer to proclaim, eg 10 units of time to fee earner X, 5 units of time to fee earner Y, 2 units of time to fee earner Z

any ideas best / easiest way to do this, ideally without needing any user intervention?

First of all your units in Proclaim would need to be configured to match your previous system.

Once you've done that if you can get an export from the data source with the amount of units and the corresponding Proclaim reference you could import the unit data into a temp field and then in the linked action on the import routine produce a memo and insert the cost data you've just imported as the memos cost units.
