Task Server Locking Files

Hi Everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had an issue where the task servers are locking files? We've had this ever since the 3.3.1.07 hotfixes applied and have been told by Eclipse that the issue is still being investigated.

Luckily we have an email notification set up off the back of our A2A portal notifications job to tell us if a case is locked but I imagine if we didn't have this set up we'd never even know about it.

If anyone has had this problem do you know of a quick fix that could help us?

Hi Sean,

Do you have a high volume of jobs running at the same time? I have not encountered this myself, but it almost sounds like a job is either not completing fully due to not having enough time or 2 or more jobs are tripping over each other.

Another thought, are these cases that are getting locked being locked on the day or are they cases that have been locked in the past by a user or another process and was never unlocked?
