[Sticky] List of Data Template User Defined Descriptions

Here we will compile a list of the possible entries in the "User Def" field for a Data Template Maintenance.
See Tech Level 4 manual Page 35 for more info

- Go to your data template in Data Template Maintenance
- Choose the fields tab and click update
- Select your case.key field and click the 'descrip' button
- Click 'new'
- Select 'User Def' and enter your chosen user defined description here.
- Now save - tick, save and save again

Ignore if case does not exist

This basically tells the import job to ignore the entire line of data in the CSV if it doesn't recognise the case reference. If you are using email case import via your task server for this job then you should also receive an email notification for each incorrect case ref that has been ignored.
- Go to your data template in Data Template Maintenance
- Choose the fields tab and click update
- Select your case.key field and click the 'descrip' button
- Click 'new'
- Select 'User Def' and enter the following text:
TEST,CaseExists=No,IgnoreCase
- Now save - tick, save and save again
